Trust is also something we can forget the value of, and losing it can make it hard to regain. Some of us earn it easily, some don’t, not always through any fault of our own. Others throw it away not knowing the loss until it’s too late, having a battle to get it back; something that isn’t always possible.
One thing you can do though is give other people your trust and you’d be surprised how much it can give you and them a boost; sharing some Happy!
When you don’t trust, whether in somebody else or in yourself and your own abilities, you can hinder your progress and bring your mood down considerably. Instead of feeling positive and picturing yourself being successful, the negative thoughts creep in. This can be tiring and can eat away at your positivity, making you less likely to succeed because of your worries and focusing on what could go wrong or what might not happen, rather than believing in your skills and dreams.
Trusting in somebody else can also be an amazing gift. Imagine you’re trying to achieve a goal and somebody else trusts in your ability too. That support can be fantastic. Even moreso is if you’re trusted with responsibility, whether it’s being left to run a shop you work in while the owner is on lunch or on a two week holiday, or somebody trusts you with their money as an investment in your hobby, future or launching a dream. These sorts of actions can transform people’s lives and shape their outlook and chance of success going forward.
So who could you choose to trust today? Whether it’s yourself, a friend, your child or a work colleague, share some trust and create some Happy!
